The installation process is labor-intensive and requires precision: it begins with preparing the surface by installing a weather-resistant barrier and metal lath for adhesion, followed by applying a scratch coat (about 3/8 inch thick) for the base, a brown coat for leveling, and a finish coat for the desired texture and color. This multi-coat system ensures strength and flexibility.
